Corona Centennial always has a number of top players in the state at various positions and this year one of them is tight end Keawe Browne (left). Centennial of Corona is looking to be the state’s public school team of the year for the third straight season and will have seven preseason all-IE players on hand to help those odds. That kind of dominance was expected, but the team with the second most players featured on this team is Chaparral of Temecula. Three of the four Pumas who were selected also are transfers from Norco, Rancho Christian and Murrieta Mesa.
Note: These preseason all-section or all-area teams are done in the same 30-player format as the annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football Teams. They are based on a combination of what the players did last season and college recruiting. Transfers may not be included if not reported yet, haven’t played for a new school yet, or info on a transfer from previous school isn’t available. Not every all-section team will have writeups of every player. Some will have an intro, then lists.
