Pacific Grove needs just one more win to end 31-0 and wrap up No. 1 ranking in Division IV. Thirteen new teams, meanwhile, are ranked with just two more weeks remaining in the season.
After Mater Dei is stunned in CIFSS Division I playoffs, Granada of Livermore gains new No. 1 ranking and can be State Team of the Year if it doesn’t lose in the CIF North Coast Section playoffs.
Redlands East Valley is this week’s highest newcomer. Bellarmine, meanwhile, bumps arch-rival St. Francis from the top five. Unbeaten Granada gets to No. 2 but still can’t quite pass Mater Dei for No. 1. El Toro and Grossmont are this week’s two newcomers.

Mater Dei, St. Francis strengthen hold on top two spots so much so that one loss may not change anything. Newcomers include Rancho Bernardo, Bonita of La Verne and Lincoln of Stockton.
The Trinity League rules as Mater Dei wins SoCal Boras Classic while Orange Lutheran takes Hard 9 National Classic. This week’s other newcomers besides the Lancers are Oaks Christian, Amador Valley and Turlock.
