SoCal/NorCal Players of the Week

It’s a great week to write up Jarod Lucas of Hacienda Heights Los Altos as the SoCal Boys Player of the Week since he’s just about to pass DeMar DeRozan of the San Antonio Spurs for the 15th spot on the Cal-Hi Sports all-time state career scoring list. This week’s other three honorees are from […]

The SJS D1 playoff seedings went with Folsom at No. 1, but generally we don’t switch rankings to agree and still have St. Mary’s of Stockton at No. 1. The big mover as the regular season ends is Antelope, which is seeded third in the D2 playoffs behind only Sacramento and Del Oro and benefits […]

In the north, a four-interception night by Buchanan’s Jack Wilkins was too hard to miss. Others chosen this week are from Hayward, Antelope, Orange and Norco.

Due to previous No. 8 Grant losing to Sheldon plus previous No. 9 Rocklin and No. 10 Whitney both getting knocked off by Woodcreek and Roseville, respectively, there are a lot of teams on the move in this week’s rankings.
