After a huge portion of the season where there was almost no movement in the first five spots of the state rankings, the results from the last two rounds of the CIF Open Division state playoffs created a scenario where we finished with the same cast of characters, but none of the five finished in the Final Expanded Rankings where they were the last several editions. After that, there was additional movement based on the D1 results. The final 15 spots of the expanded rankings became a who beat who combined with competitive equity and playoff finishes.
