This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. We skipped last week to get out Super Bowl alums, final all-state football teams and preseason state baseball rankings. That’s why this week’s edition has more stat stars than usual. For boys hoops, we have just the second freshmen ever to go past 1,000 points for one season and we highlight the 13th head coach to reach 800 wins. For girls, future Washington Huskies teammates Chloe Briggs and Ari Long are both moving up on the all-time state career scoring list.
