The playoffs begin in the CIF Southern Section and with a couple of exceptions the seedings of the Open Division look more like these rankings than they ever did in any of the previous polls the CIFSS releases each week. With league play wrapping up and limited non-league action last week throughout the state, there were no changes in the first 13 spots. Look for that to perhaps change when pool play begins this week in the toughest playoff division in the nation.
