We were coasting along through the first 16 spots this week and then based on the CIF Southern Section playoff pecking order we had a change that impacted the next five teams. Once again we looked for a way to get in some newcomers, but once again no one dropped out. With the CIF Southern Section playoffs underway, that likely could be changing maybe not in this week’s first round action, but next week when top teams are in the second round and playoffs start in the other sections with ranked teams. This week’s rankings also include a key win by No. 8 St. Mary’s of Stockton on Monday over No. 14 Miramonte of Orinda.
