Teams that moved up the most for the final divisional state rankings include Arcadia (D2), Christopher of Gilroy (D3), Colfax (D4), Arcata (D4), Fremont Christian (D5) and Waterford (D5). Just about every CIF section champion and many runner-ups and semifinalists appear in these final rankings. The hardest part is matching the D1 and D2 ranking order with our final, overall State Top 40 since teams toward the bottom of the Top 40 are so close and hard to pick apart.
