Sacred Heart Prep gets a mythical state crown by finishing No. 1 in the traditional Cal-Hi Sports five-division state rankings format in Division IV. Central Catholic also is D4 in this format so the D5 winner is St. Margaret’s of SJ Capistrano.

This is the sixth preseason all-section or all-area football team we have compiled and covers schools from the entire CIF Northern Section. Naturally, Enterprise of Redding, which has a lot of skill players back off last year’s team that won the CIF NorCal D2 bowl game, has the most honorees.
