Sierra Canyon inches up to No. 3 but Centennial of Corona only goes down to No. 5 after new No. 4 Mater Dei’s win last week over Centennial. There’s not much other movement this week inside the top 25 until No. 18 where Carlsbad moves up as the highest-ranked team in the CIF San Diego Section. Three new teams inside the top 25 are Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa, Chaminade of West Hills and Buchanan of Clovis. New teams in the top 50 this week include Rocklin (the fifth to be that high from the Sierra Foothill League) along with small school Santa Fe Christian.
