Since the CIFSS is so massive and loaded with talent at schools in the Trinity League plus at other schools like Corona Centennial, Sierra Canyon, Mission Viejo, Tustin, Crean Lutheran and more, we have a first team and a second team of players who are written up for this feature plus a third team list after that. St. John Bosco is the preseason favorite as a team and has the most players inside these 60 written up at five but Centennial, Sierra Canyon and Tustin are right behind at four. The 60 includes at least five offensive linemen on each team plus a kicker and punter for each.
Note: These preseason all-section teams are done in the same 30-player format as the annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football Teams. That means it’s not a one through 30 player ranking. There has to be certain numbers of players at each position — 11 on offense with kicker, 11 on defense with punter plus six multi-purpose. They are based on a combination of what the players did last season and college recruiting. Transfers may not be included if not reported yet, haven’t played for a new school yet, or info on a transfer from previous school isn’t available.
