Just after getting the final softball all-state nominations completed, we’ve done the same for baseball one day later. Our first teams for baseball (juniors, sophomores) will be out next week. This will be the 44th annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Baseball Teams. These are the updated lists for the CIF San Diego, L.A. City and Southern Sections. We already did the updated list for Northern California. Thanks to all who contributed info from the first list. It’s still not too late to send in a nomination.

Format: All-state teams will be selected separately for juniors & sophomores, medium schools and small schools. A freshman all-state watch list also will be compiled. A final top 30 overall team then will be done with each of those 30 players featured with a writeup. Second team and third team for large schools and seniors only also will be done. There is a separate category for what we call multi-purpose, which is where we often highlight those baseball players who are top pitchers and top hitters.
Our all-state patch for the 2026 baseball season will be similar to the one for previous years through our partners from BillyTees.com.
Congratulations to all of the following all-state nominees currently on our board for the various 2026 all-state baseball teams. Isai Gutierrez compiled the first list of nominees from Northern California. He started an internship at CalHiSports.com in January of 2025 and is a student at Modesto Junior College. He graduated in 2024 from Sierra High in Manteca.
