We’re going to begin picking the 43rd annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Softball Teams in a matter days. First, we’re providing the updated lists of nominees from every CIF section. We already did the updated list in softball for Northern California. Now, here’s the same for SoCal, specifically the CIF San Diego, L.A. City and Southern Sections. Thanks to all who contributed info from the first list. It’s still not too late to send in a nomination.

Format: All-state teams will be selected separately for juniors & sophomores, medium schools and small schools. A freshman all-state watch list also will be compiled. A final top 30 overall team then will be done with each of those 30 players featured with a writeup. Second team and third team for large schools and seniors only also will be done. There is a separate category for what we call multi-purpose, which is where we often highlight those baseball players who are top pitchers and top hitters.
Our all-state patch for the 2026 softball season will be similar to the one for previous years through our partners from BillyTees.com.
Congratulations to all of the following all-state nominees currently on our board for the various 2026 all-state softball teams. Isai Gutierrez compiled the first list of nominees from Northern California. He started an internship at CalHiSports.com in January of 2025 and is a student at Modesto Junior College. He graduated in 2024 from Sierra High in Manteca.
