Girls BB: Divisional All-State 2026

State Players of the Year Kaleena Smith (Open/Dl), Jhai Johnson (D2), Delaney Shiring (D3), Lauren Harris (D4) and Naomi Durrah (D5) are now joined by many more players on all of our various 2026 all-state teams by divisions. This is the next set of teams for the 47th annual Cal-Hi Sports all-state teams for girls basketball. It takes us a while to get everything done with boys and girls teams to go through while baseball and softball is going on, but these are honors that people can look at years and years down the road. The competitive equity way of doing playoffs also concentrates so many top players in the Open/D1 category so we’ve devised ways over the years to add sub-categories for Open/D1. The final overall/elite all-state girls teams will be out later this weekend.

D5/D6 STATE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:

*Note: The division placement of schools (and players from those schools for all-state) is based on the same divisions that teams were placed for the CIF regional playoffs. Section playoff placement also was used for teams that were not in the regionals. We also looked at each team and the team it lost to in the playoffs and followed the line of teams to CIF regionals. In some cases, it also was an estimation of which divisions those teams would be in. Sorry, but we cannot go through every nominated player and determine a separate divisional placement based on traditional factors such as enrollment. More than one third of the players already have to have divisional placement figured out even going by the CIF regional divisions.

Special thanks again to Harold Abend for contributions to these teams.
