State Stat Stars & Record Updates

This is a combination of highlights mostly from tournaments that ended before Christmas plus others that just ended earlier this week before New Year’s Eve. We begin with the 68-point outing by Santa Fe Springs St. Paul’s Will Bryson III. It’s a record for large schools in the San Gabriel Valley. Other boys include a three-point shooter from Canoga Park who hit on 13 in one game and a school record 52-point total for Clovis West’s Jace Kellogg. For the girls, we have a center from Sacramento with 17 blocked shots in one game, a freshman with two 36-point outings within a few days and another player from the Inland Empire with a rare quadruple double.
