There was consideration for the first unbeaten team through the CIF San Diego Section playoffs in history to be moved up to No. 1 after Corona’s loss to St. John Bosco of Bellflower. But when the Braves later beat Santa Margarita to win the CIF Southern Section D1 crown, it had to be them at the top and Corona right behind. Granite Hills may have a shot to play and beat Bosco, however, in the CIF SoCal D1 regional playoffs. No opting out for either one.
