State Stat Stars of the Week

This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. In baseball this week, we have playoff no-hitters by pitchers from Woodland Hills, Oceanside and Atwater. We also detail how Anaheim’s girl pitcher did in her CIF Southern Section title game start. For softball, Eureka pitcher Kira Morris improves to 23-0 in section semifinals this week while St. Francis of Mountain View’s Jessica Oakland hits her 19th homer of the season.
