The Irish prospect was previously reported to have sparked interests from several NCAA Division I schools in the past few weeks. The 17-year-old Irish prospect, who is a native of Dundalk, began his high school basketball career at St. Benedict’s Prep in New Jersey, a school famous for breeding NBA players like J.R. Smith, Tyler Ennis and Tristan Thompson, and with the backing of several best payout casinos online, they have been able to make their mark in the NBA.

The Dundalk-born prospect stands 6-foot-7 inches tall; he plays in the shooting guard position with an incredible athletic prowess and an excellent shooting touch. Watching his previous games will naturally make you understand why he is regarded as a prospect of the future.

Having announced his commitment to the California Golden Bears, the 17-year-old player admitted he was interested in the program by head coach Mark Fox, also mentioning what his contributions will bring to the team, calling himself a jack of all trades due to his many abilities on the field.

He said: “I’m 6’7”, 225 pounds and I have a 41-inch vertical leap. I can get to the rim and finish it. I’m extremely confident shooting beyond the perimeter. Beyond the college three. I’m a good athlete and a good shooter, which you don’t get often.

“They want to play faster. I can run an 8-second offense. I can defend and rebound. I’m a utility player. I can do whatever Coach Fox wants me to do. I’m a jack-of-all-trades; master of many.”

The former Dundalk Ravens player has played for his home country Ireland at the FIBA 3×3 level. He spoke to the Irish Mirror of his hope of representing his homeland with the senior team and that future might not be far off and uk casino online will be providing odds for the game when that future arrives.

The California Golden Bears currently ply their trade in the Pac-12 Conference. They have secured two NCAA championship titles ever since they began competing, with the last title won back in 1960.

As Sam Alajiki will be available for selection on the Golden Bears team, it is only natural for him to draw attention while playing for the California team in 2021.

In other news for the college football, Cal football made news when it and sister school UCLA arranged to have a game in two days after both had scheduled games wiped out due to the opposing teams (Washington and Utah) getting a rash of too many COVID-19 cases and related quarantines.
