Another of Mater Dei’s CIF state title teams leads off this group of all-time great units. We also have the first of the L.A. Crenshaw squads, but it might surprise you which one has landed among this bunch. Others earning all-time greatest writeups include our best from the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section, two teams we wish could have played each other in 1985, one of the recent teams from Sierra Canyon and our only entry from the decade of the 1950s. Plus, after No. 30, we have more than 30 teams listed on the bubble.
