Coaches Speak: More CIF Bowl Games

In a non-scientific survey of top football coaches from around the state who responded to a questionnaire we sent out last week, there appears to be a majority of them who are not supportive of that many teams potentially playing 16-game schedules.

Drillers win one for the record books

Bakersfield’s 56-26 victory over Del Oro gives the school its seventh CIF state football title but the first one since 1927. Asauni Rufus just did too much as the option quarterback.

Top Things Learned at SD Honor Bowl

It was a whirlwind of football at Oceanside High and Cal-Hi Sports was there for all four games. With scores of 50-39, 41-24, 57-21 and 69-55 it’s going to take awhile to sort everything out, but we’ll try with this feature post.
