We begin with a salute to the state’s third boys player this season who recently reached 3,000 career points. We also feature two boys who went past 2,000 points for their career plus a sophomore with a big outing in a win over an opponent led by our state’s only 4,000-point scorer. For the girls, Etiwanda’s Stan Delus celebrates 500th coaching win and we now have Marlon Wells of Rancho Christian with more than 600 coaching wins. Other girls in the spotlight are from Baldwin Park, Elk Grove, Canyon Country, Huntington Beach. Many more boys and girls written up in this week’s installment.
