State Stat Stars & Record Updates

Thirteen of the 15 CIF state championship teams from last season have already lost this season, which means that St. Vincent de Paul of Petaluma and Sonora also are the two teams with the longest current win streaks. We also highlight a Central Section QB with seven TD passes in one game last week, eight more TD passes from Oxnard Pacifica’s Taylor Lee, a 1,000-yard rusher from the L.A. City Section and one player each from Simi Valley and L.A. Cathedral, which played in a 56-54 contest.
