Individual standouts such as Tounde Yessoufou (St. Joseph) and Alijah Arenas (Chatsworth) have been getting most of the attention for their scoring exploits, but this week the focus will return to team results as the post-season comes into focus. The Trinity and Mission League results in the CIF Southern Section affect this week’s State Top 30 boys basketball rankings the most. Yessoufou’s St. Joseph club is up to No. 3 this week, while Santa Margarita jumps back up with Inderkum of Sacramento making noise in the CIF San Joaquin Section. Who qualifies for the CIFSS open division is still up for grabs heading into the final week of the regular season in that section.
