Los Alamitos takes over No. 1 ranking after winning title of the Michelle Carew Classic, but then we decided to wait to release this week until after a Tuesday game vs league rival Marina (Huntington Beach). Los Al won so all rankings stayed as projected. Another league rival, Huntington Beach, jumps from 5-3 and not ranked to 10-4 and almost in the top 10. Newcomers this week also are Vista del Lago of Folsom, San Ramon Valley of Danville and Rio Mesa of Oxnard.
