As is another of our traditions, we present our expanded, final State Top 40 overall boys basketball team rankings for the 2022-23 season, the first season with no COVID-19 issues since 2018-19. There is some movement from our previous weekly Top 25 update, as teams in strong leagues deserve to move up and more D2 teams than ever also do because of the seedings in the regional playoffs. Does D4 state champ Valencia deserve a spot? We think so.
