In one of those kind of baseball weeks in which most of the top teams takes a loss (some more than one), De La Salle of Concord moves back to the same position it ended in the final state rankings from 2022. Santa Margarita also surges up to second after its three-game sweep of Orange Lutheran while previous No. 1 Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) just drops to third. Granite Hills of El Cajon also jumps to No. 6. Newcomers are led by Serra of San Mateo and Palo Alto from the CCS. Pleasant Grove of Elk Grove also goes into first 25 as a newcomer.
