This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports.
The big news is Chloe Briggs of Ontario Christian moving to No. 3 on the all-time career scoring list for the girls. It’s the player she passed and the section record she broke, however, that carries the most weight.
For the boys, 7-foot Andrew McKeever of Livermore Granada made his presence felt in a NCS playoff game and there were some grid-hoopers that caught our attention.
We also are writing up baseball and softball players for the first time this season.
