After yesterday’s release of the all-state underclass girls basketball teams, we move on to the all-state teams for the 2021-22 season according to the five CIF divisions. It can get confusing about which divisions which players are in for schools that were not in the NorCal or SoCal regional playoffs, but every player was considered carefully. The elite first, second and third teams will be posted tomorrow. We are now in our 43rd year of providing all-state basketball teams in California.

Note: We hope you enjoy this free post on CalHiSports.com. Updated state coaching records will be coming soon and will be for Gold Club members only. Our all-state underclass teams plus second and third teams overall also are for Gold Club. Please check out becoming a member today so you don’t miss any of our exclusive statewide content. D5 STATE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Summer Jenkins (San Domenico)

*Note: The division placement of schools (and players from those schools for all-state) is based on the same divisions that teams were placed for the CIF regional playoffs. Section playoff placement was then used for teams that were not in the regionals and for teams and players that only played in the regular season it was an estimation of which divisions those teams would be in. Sorry, but we cannot go through every nominated player and determine a separate divisional placement based on traditional factors such as enrollment.

Special thanks to Harold Abend for contributions to these teams.
