Final totals for some players in baseball, softball, girls basketball and boys basketball for this spring are starting to come in. In boys hoops, Sacramento player explodes for 50 points in last game of his season. In girls hoops, we welcome the state’s latest (and only 14th all-time) to reach 3,000 career points. In softball, we have a freshman from San Diego with 14 homers and a girl from Bakersfield who has tied a state record with her third grand slam. And in baseball, the season of Cameron Butler (Big Valley Christian) is done and what a season it was with 15 homers, 61 RBI and a new state record for batting average (70 at-bat minimum).
