Lack of action may be a factor in some of the Northern California squads not being real sharp yet as some have only played two games, and some still none, while teams in the CIF Southern, San Diego and Central Sections have played as many as 16 games. No. 1 Mater Dei was especially sharp in massive wins over Rosary and Long Beach Poly. Etiwanda and Clovis West also jump into the top five after impressive wins.
