NEW State Top 25 Girls BB Rankings

Five of seven players above started for No. 5 Archbishop Mitty at the Elite Showcase event held at Miramonte (Orinda). Shown are Ashley Hiraki, Olivia Williams, Marley Langi (did not play that day), Hunter Hernandez (out until late in the season), Sydney Bourland, Amelia Scharpf and Katie Springs. As is always the case, the first set of regular season rankings is different from the preseason, but among the top teams it just meant a bit of a shuffle, although many of the top teams are playing in either the Nike TOC top division of a tournament that begins on Wednesday, or the 20th Annual West Coast Jamboree top division. Things should shake out more by the conclusion of the Jamboree played the weekend between Christmas and New Year. Of note and like the boys rankings we have added five teams to a newly expanded format.
