NEW State Top 50 FB Ranks (1-25)

Head coach Jason Negro of No. 2 St. John Bosco might not have been that relaxed as his team was getting ready to play in Hawaii last week, but he probably is this week since his squad is on a bye. Photo: hawaiiprepworld.com.

It’s another big win for Helix of La Mesa and now that the Highlanders are unanimous No. 1 in San Diego they pop up to No. 10 in this week’s state rankings. Mater Dei stays No. 1 with trip this week to Washington D.C. after its bye week while No. 2 St. John Bosco is going on its bye week this week. The other bold move this week is putting Oak Ridge of El Dorado Hills at No. 25 with a nine-spot jump even though the Trojans lost to No. 6 Folsom. It was how they lost, however, that was impressive.
