Book Signings & Appearances (Sept.)

The next three weeks should be busy ones for signings and appearances related to the new book released last month “High School Football In California” authored by Cal-Hi Sports co-founder and editor Mark Tennis.

Thursday, Sept. 13
Best of Preps Podcast. Interview with Nick Woodard, high school sports editor of the Stockton Record. The interview was taped on Wednesday, but article about it appearing in Thursday’s paper. Can listen on iTunes by CLICKING HERE.

Saturday, Sept. 15
Book signing & appearance. Stockton Barnes & Noble 1 p.m to 4 p.m. If enough people are there and interested, we’ll break for a discussion about state and local football at 2 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 20
BVarsity Live. Studio show with Bakersfield Californian high school sports editor Trevor Horn.

Friday, Sept. 21
Attending game between host Bakersfield High and Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth).

Saturday, Sept. 22
Book signing & appearance. Bakersfield Barnes & Noble. A short hop from Griffith Field. Scheduled start time 2 p.m.

Thursday Sept. 27
High School Rise Show with Nick Papagni & Matt Johnson. Nick AKA Pagmeter for CIF Central Section fans and has done great work stepping up after recent cutbacks at Fresno Bee.

Friday, Sept. 28
Attending game between host Central (Fresno) and Buchanan (Clovis). Entering week of Sept. 10-14, those were the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams in the CIF Central Section.
