Once again Narbonne of Harbor City is the overwhelming preseason favorite to win the second L.A. City Section Open Division title. Narbonne also is gunning for its fifth consecutive major division title and that is reflected in the amount of preseason all-section choices the Gauchos have. There are a whopping eight of them, while Open Division contender and defending D1 champ San Fernando checks in with four.
Note: These preseason all-section teams will be done in the same 30-player format as the annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football Teams. They are based on a combination of what the players did last season and college recruiting. Not every all-section team will have writeups of every player. Some will have an intro, then lists.

OFFENSE
WR — Steve Jenkins (Narbonne, Harbor City) 5-11, 155, Sr.
The section’s reported returning leader in receiving yardage (737 yards), Jenkins hauled in 36 receptions (20.5 ypc) with six touchdowns last season. The UNLV commit is expected to help Narbonne win its fifth consecutive major division L.A. City Section title and eighth in the past 11 years.
