It’s an amazing season coming up the Central Valley with record-breaking, rush-pass quarterbacks galore. We couldn’t even fit some players with monster stats from last year on first team. This also is the first year the section welcomes 13 new schools coming in from the CIF Southern Section. Two players from those schools are on first team but there are no returning All-CIFSS players from those schools from last season so that was the best that could be done.

Note: These preseason all-section teams will be done in the same 30-player format as the annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football Teams. In other words, there has to be at least five offensive linemen, one to two receivers (may or may not be a tight end), two running backs, three defensive linemen, three linebackers and three defensive backs with a kicker, someone who is a proven punter and six multi-purpose players. They are based on a combination of what the players did last season and college recruiting. Not every all-section team will have writeups of every player. Some will have an intro, then lists.
