Two teams climbing to No. 2 this week are Central Catholic of Modesto in D3 and Linfield Christian of Temecula in D5. Marin Catholic and Cardinal Newman also switch from D3 to D4 but we only had room for one of them to be in this week’s D4 rankings. Still No. 1 are De La Salle of Concord (D1), Clayton Valley of Concord (D2), Calabasas (D3), Sierra Canyon (D4) and Grace Brethren (D5).

With the CIF bowl games now in 13 divisions and with it basically impossible to place teams into those divisions in a weekly format, we are rebooting our traditional five-division state rankings first done in 1975. Note: There are not going to be separate free and premium posts for new rankings this season. All new rankings will be for Gold Club members only. The only way we’ll be offering free new rankings is if we were to obtain a sponsor for them. Please consider joining our team today. It’s a great time to sign up and cost for a yearly subscription is going up possibly as early as next week. For details, CLICK HERE.
