The fifth annual NorCal Clash will be held Sunday, August 25th at El Cerrito High School.
This one-game event will have elite players from Northern California in the class of 2014 pitted against elite players from the class of 2015. Coaching the game will be Mike Booker of El Cerrito (2014) and Devon Jones of Capital Christian of Sacramento (2015).
The event, produced by NorCal scout Gerry Freitas, is intended to help promote Nor Cal basketball and the region’s elite prospects. CalHiSports.com and partner sportstarsonline.com will be in attendance and have a report on this event.
Bishop O’Dowd’s Ivan Rabb, the 2012-13 Cal-Hi Sports State Sophomore of the Year, headlines the list of expected participants. Others scheduled to play include Jalen Canty from St. Patrick-St. Vincent of Vallejo (2014), Gabe Vincent from St. Mary’s of Stockton (2014) and Marquese Chriss from Pleasant Grove of Elk Grove (2015).
