As expected and just like the boys, there was just one CIF state champion that also has ended No. 1 in its division according to the final divisional rankings by Cal-Hi Sports.

Due to the implementation of the first CIF open division, it was decided to continue to provide divisional rankings with the open division teams included in their divisions. This isn’t intended to diminish the accomplishment of a team winning a CIF divisional state title, but more to deservedly rank the teams that were pushed up into the open division.

Division I state champ Long Beach Poly finishes at No. 4 in Division I, D2 state champ Lynwood is No. 2 in D2, D3 state champ Alemany is No. 3 in D3 and D4 state champ Serra of Gardena is No. 3 in D4. D5 state champ Sierra Canyon, however, did end at No. 1 in D5 even though 2012 champion Brookside Christian was an open division squad.
