Defeated Granada (Livermore) 48-14.

2. Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita) 5-0
Defeated No. 9 St. Bonaventure (Ventura) 35-27. See Twitter feed for additional highlights. It was announced by the school on Saturday that standout quarterback Johnny Stanton had suffered a knee injury during the game that has been determined to be a torn ACL. Surgery is pending and he likely will be lost for the season.

3. Vista Murrieta (Murrieta) 4-0
Defeated Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) 21-10. Broncos trailed at halftime 10-7.

4. Oaks Christian (Westlake Village) 4-1
Lost to Crenshaw (Los Angeles) 13-2. Reportedly first time in school history that Lions did not score a touchdown during a game. Crenshaw team has a loss to Westlake of Westlake Village, which dropped its second straight game Friday to Crespi of Encino after losing the week before to La Serna of Whittier. Just can be hard to figure out high school teams from week to week.

5. Narbonne (Harbor City) 4-0
Defeated No. 10 Serra (Gardena) 22-9. Gauchos have another big showdown next week against Mater Dei.

6. Bakersfield 5-0
Defeated Buchanan (Clovis) 52-18.

7. Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita) 5-0
Defeated No. 19 Chaparral (Temecula) 17-14.

8. Mission Viejo 5-0
Defeated Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo) 84-22.

9. St. Bonaventure (Ventura) 4-1
Lost to No. 2 Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita) 35-27. With 2:50 left, Seraphs trailed by just 28-27.

10. Serra (Gardena) 4-1
Lost to No. 5 Narbonne (Harbor City) 22-9.

Defeated Nevada Union (Grass Valley) 43-19. Thundering Herd should join top 10 in next rankings.
