CIF SoCal Bowl Board No. 2

New teams on the SoCal board this week are Oceanside, Tri-City Christian, Katella of Anaheim, Nogales of La Puente and Bakersfield Christian. Week 1 State Top 25 Scoreboard

Of the two biggest games this weekend, one happened on Thursday while the other took place Saturday. In Friday’s games, No. 14 Crespi of Encino was beaten by Orange Lutheran while No. 13 Vista Murrieta and No. 16 Bellarmine of San Jose looked great in season openers. No. 5 Folsom also won on Saturday.

Cali adds one to NFL Hall of Fame

On the same weekend in which the ninth player from a California high school ever inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame died, the late Junior Seau of Oceanside was enshrined during ceremonies in Canton, Ohio.
