(Click Arrows on Home Page To See More Photos) We have much to review this week after being busy for a few weeks wrapping up all-state teams in boys & girls basketball. For baseball, we have a new coach with 800 or more career wins and another coach who has hit the 600-win milestone. We also have a new state record for consecutive scoreless innings for a pitcher (it ended earlier this week) and perhaps our first-ever reported player with a .600 or better career batting average. For softball, South of Bakersfield’s Aniyah Gordon is just about to break the single-season RBI state record (next game is Friday). We also have a girl from Aaron Judge’s hometown with season totals in hits and runs scored that will be in our state record book plus we have another girl who has ended the season with five no-hitters and another who recently had 11 RBI in one game and has an .831 batting average.
