A lot of teams in this group have lost in very good section playoff brackets, especially from the CIF Southern Section D2 playoffs (based on competitive equity), but not all. Los Gatos and Bakersfield Christian are now in for the first time this season. Granite Hills of El Cajon leads at No. 26. Granite Bay and Palos Verdes both were given major jumps. Crean Lutheran also leads group of newcomers coming back in that had lost in earlier rounds of CIFSS playoffs.
