There’s two weeks of performances to catch up with this time. We lead off with the 15th coach in state history to reach 300 career wins, then go over where Newbury Park’s Brady Smigiel will likely end up on various career passing lists now that unfortunately his season is over with a knee injury. We also have details on the two longest current losing streaks in the state ending on the same night, Dos Palos getting to 699 all-time wins, two receivers in the same game for different teams getting 305 receiving yards and another monster outing from Oakdale’s Wes Burford, who had 423 yards rushing and seven TDs in a 71-55 win vs East Union of Manteca. Troy Foster (Huntington Beach) and Blake Wong (Norco) also had five TD catches and Wyatt Shaw (Redding Christian) set a CIF Northern Section record with eight TD passes.
