Mater Dei bounces back from loss to Corona Centennial with a major national win at Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas. That result plus previous No. 2 Mission Viejo going down in a loss to McCallie of Tennessee breaks the who-beat-who scenario of doing rankings and causes some changes, including the Monarchs now back to third behind St. John Bosco and Centennial. Local rivals La Costa Canyon & Mission Hills plus Murrieta Valley & Vista Murrieta also are now right next to each other.
