The NorCal and SoCal regional finals are set for Tuesday and in our second-to-last State TOP 30 boys basketball rankings of the 2024-25 season, a team that didn’t make the regional moves up based on last week’s results. As expected, it will be No. 1 vs. No. 2 in Tuesday’s SoCal Open title game and No. 4 vs. No. 8 in the NorCal Open championship on the same night. Those two games, plus the D1 finals in both regions, will play a big role in how next week’s special final Top 40 rankings shape up. Can the North win the CIF open title for only the second time ever since it started in 2013?
