This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. More than lists and numbers, we can provide historical context since we’ve maintained state records in California for more than 40 years. It’s another 7 TD passes this week for Newbury Park’s Brady Smigiel but this time it’s in a loss. Brent Kroeze of Central Valley Christian (Visalia) almost goes into the state record book while we have big totals for other QBs as well. We also have a report of a player with eight sacks in one game but will need help from the school to verify.
