It was a bad week for almost all top-ranked teams in Northern California, except one as Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa won the Boras Classic for NorCal teams, improved to 14-0 and moved to No. 1 for the region. Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks goes back to No. 1 for the state and is one of the top six teams that will all be going at it this week at the Boras Classic for SoCal squads. Newcomers this week are San Dimas, Bishop Amat, Torrey Pines and Amador Valley.
