The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets have been announced with games on weekdays that are beginning this week except the Open Division where action does not start until Saturday. The Open Division seedings matched last week’s rankings for all but the No. 8 seed and now we’ve brought that team in as a newcomer. Rosary of Fullerton also is new this week. Nothing has changed much since the start of the season with Sierra Canyon and Etiwanda at the top of the CIFSS, but the girls are not like the boys in that there are top five teams from outside of that division.
