We had our first big shakeup among the top seven teams when the upset bug bit in the CIF Central Section, but it might not be as big of a shakeup as some might think. In the CIF Southern Section, the eight teams in the Open Pool play bracket are starting to take shape in what is a bit of a down year but it still is the toughest playoff division in the nation. It’s also now been made tougher with an incident that took place in the Inland Empire that has implications on that division’s seedings & team selections.
