In this universe, the state’s high school sports landscape evolved much differently, with two very large sections (north & south) and a much more robust CIF state association. No results were changed in the 2022 state playoffs that just ended in our alternate universe, but the Open Division state championship saw St. John Bosco defeat Mater Dei.
